We’ve brought back this thirst-quencher as our summer seasonal! Originally released as Ides # 39 from July 2019, our Salted Lime Gose is a crushable 4.4% and is the perfect accompaniment to warm, sunny weather. The lime gives this light, fruity ale a tingling acidity, complimented by a sprinkle of saltiness that makes it hard to put down.

Carbonation: 2.55 Volumes (Medium-High)
Malts: Pale 2 Row, Toasted Wheat, Acidulated
Hops: Magnum
Yeast: Cali Ale
Other: Lime Juice, Lime Peel, Coriander, Sea Salt
Appearance: Glowing hazy golden with a thin white head
Aroma: Fresh citrus peel, a sea breeze, mild crackery malt, floral coriander
Taste: Tart citrus peel, sweet crackery malt, white flowers, just enough salinity to invite another sip
Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a zippy acidity, tingly carbonation and a dry, slightly salty finish
Overall impression: A refreshing citrus focused ale with a tangy, salty finish

Lime review

Really enjoyed this beer, typically I buy this hose from burdock brewery but they were all out so tried this one. Will be sticking to the Henderson on going forward as long as it’s in stock. Great beer !

Extremely tart

Much more lime flavour than I expected. Not my favorite. That said was much nicer with salty snacks.
